As I slowly catch up on all my blogging I get to reflect on each wedding and portrait session which is half the fun for me. This is Imee and Stan and this wedding was a lot of fun for me. These guys gave lots of time for their portrait session which allowed us to do lots of locations and really take our time (which is great because it was crazy hot!!!) We had lots to eat, lots of fun and got some great shots. Thanks guys!

Meaghan & Justin July 6

As usual - the summer begins and my blogging stops! It’s been a hectic summer but I’m determined to get some recent work up for you to see what’s been going on.

This is Meaghan and Justing. This fun loving couple got hitched on July 6th and it was a perfect day. They were a blast to work with and we got some great shots despite having less time than I would have liked!

Beautiful Tofino

Well, I am currently in paradise on a well deserved family vacation and we are eating up every single moment. Mike, Lauren, Hunter and I rented a fabulous house on Chesterman’s beach with our dear friends Kim and Ryan and their beautiful hound - Thundi. This is a great place for dogs and humans to just take a deep breath and be. The crashing waves, wide open - breathtaking beaches and fresh cool air make it truly magical. I am LOVING this vacation and will remember it fondly until we can return again. Here are a few snap shots… there are many many more - believe me!

Vanessa’s belly

A dear friend of mine is expecting her second baby very soon! Vanessa wanted to get some shots before the big due date so we decided on Van Dusen Gardens as a location. She also wanted her beautiful 3 year old Celina in the shots as well. I had a lot of fun photographing them and I’m happy with the results.

Baby is due to arrive July 3rd so stay tuned for some baby photos coming soon!

Okangan Valley Vistas

Okay so this is going to be a big posting. I had a hard time choosing photographs from this session to blog about because we got so many great shots - I just couldn’t decide! I was very excited to have Bibiana and Richard come all the way from Vancouver for their engagement session and to have the chance to explore all the amazing locations that Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley have to offer.

We also went to Kelowna at the end of the day and got some fun shots there…

Hudson

I first got to Hudson’s portrait when he was first born but now he’s already one year old so I got to go back and see him again.

He is such a sweet little guy with plenty of hugs for his mom and dad. I’ve never met such a huggy baby!

Baby Kirsten

Baby Kirsten arrived a bit late but as cute as ever. I photographed her at just over two weeks old and she was good as gold! I love to do baby photography but every time I do I can’t help but think about having another one. Hopefully my husband doesn’t read this!

Wow - I’m Two!!!!!

Lauren had her 2nd birthday just recently… people told me time flies after having a baby but nothing could prepare me for just how quickly she would go from a tiny baby in my arms to an independent preschooler. It does though - just get better and better with every new stage

Nazare & Rhiannon

These two girls are budding stars - that’s for sure! They are both full of personality and never hesitate to show off their talents at a moment’s notice.

Their mom asked me to do some photos for their portfolio so that they can get started on their acting career… I’m sure they will go far.
