To celebrate I am kicking off my spring event for the month of April. And what’s even better is that helping the Kelowna Women’s Shelter this Spring is as easy as getting your picture taken!

At Aviva Studios we believe strongly in giving back to the community and connecting with causes that are close to our hearts. This is what has inspired our most recent project “Celebrate Spring”. For the entire month of April I will be booking sessions and giving families the opportunity to have professional portraits taken in support of the Kelowna Women’s Shelter.

All participants will receive a portrait session in the park with Aviva Studios. They will also receive an 8×10 print of their choice, a fb image to share and $25 from each session will support the Kelowna Women’s Shelter. The sessions are only $99 (regularly a $285 value.)

I’m really excited about this project, it’s a great way for us to give back to our community by supporting our local women’s shelter which does a lot of important work for women and children in Kelowna.

“Since 1980, the Kelowna Women’s Shelter has provided shelter and a wide range of support services to women and children who have been impacted by abuse.” Says Kathleen Lemieux, Coordinator or Awareness and Events for the Shelter. “Last year 483 women and children stayed at the shelter and over 2000 individuals made contact with their other support services, children’s programs, violence prevention programs and community awareness activities and confidential counseling services. Support from the community makes it possible for us to offer these crucial services to women and children and we applaud our community partners for their efforts to raise funds and create awareness of our services.”

Aviva Diva’s Return is hosted by Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel & Villas. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location! Each woman will have a private pampering session getting their glam hair and makeup done by Aura Beauty before their private Diva photo shoot!

$50 from each session will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and we have wonderful gift bags full of great prizes from local businesses!
